Ash is personable, enthusiastic and open to questions from both staff and players. She makes the sessions accessible and challenging; the sessions are easily adaptable across ability levels for school teachers and coaches.
The best thing about the sessions was the delivery in combination with the resources provided by Ash (notes, drills, practices, progressions) which gave the coaches tangible, progressive steps along with quality drills that were new to us. Useful across all ages!
The sessions were useful because of the walk it, talk it, do it approach that Ash embodies so well.

Ash is very professional, relatable and engaging as a speaker. She oozes enthusiasm and passion for her sport and she has so much to share about her journey in sport, lacrosse, teaching and coaching.
The best thing about the session was the very personal and friendly nature of the talk and the honesty in the way the information was given. Ash was very friendly and approachable (even on a zoom call) and the girls felt comfortable to ask lots of questions. The girls found the talk inspirational and motivational and took a lot from Ash’s stories about perseverance, determination, self-belief and balancing more than one ambition to pursue her goals, despite the challenges she faced.

This was such an inspirational and varied session. Ash provided some attack and defensive drills and a great heart raiser for the girls. They loved being able to have a discussion at the end and it was great to see all year groups engage and enjoy the session.

With COVID affecting our ability to play this year, having a webinar with AMG Sports provided us with some really useful tips for training without your teammates as well as utilising the new rules (many of the team are yet to play with) to our advantage! Because universities haven’t been able to play this year this will put us ahead of the other universities who didn’t have the amazing opportunity to have a webinar with Ash.

I first contacted Ashleigh three years ago to see if she could give an after dinner talk to the Westonbirt girls who were about to set off to the east coast of America for their lacrosse tour. What Ashleigh delivered exceeded all expectations. Of course Ashleigh knew her subject inside out, but what benefited and inspired the girls most was the way in which Ashleigh conveyed the rises and falls of her personal journey within the world of lacrosse. A core audience ranging from ages 13 to 16 years would be a difficult audience for most speakers, but not Ashleigh. The confidence and warmth of her speech had the girls hooked from the outset and it was wonderful to see the focus on their faces as they relished the insight they were being given by one of the country’s top lacrosse players. After the speech Ashleigh took time to speak to the girls all individually and the obligatory ‘selfies’ that followed put some fabulous smiles on many faces! You can imagine how delighted I was therefore when Ashleigh agreed to visit us again 3 years later for the most recent lacrosse tour. This time a different set of girls, but with the same all inspiring outcome for all who listened. I cannot recommend Ashleigh highly enough to anyone looking for a fun, intelligent and engaging motivational speaker.
